Zovo Cross Sum Puzzles
Printable cross-sum number puzzles with one solution and an answer key.
Zovo Cross Sum Puzzles makes printable cross-sum puzzles for puzzle fans, teachers and students. Each grid from 6 x 6 to 12 x 12 has white squares to fill with the digits 1 to 9 and dark clue squares with sums: each run of white squares across or down adds up to its clue, and no digit repeats in a run. Choose the size and difficulty (easy, medium or hard). A solver checks that each puzzle has one solution before the PDF is made. The PDF has 1, 2 or 4 puzzles per page on Letter or A4 with a title, a name line and answer pages. The chat card lets you solve a puzzle on screen and check your entries. The same seed reprints the same puzzle.
What it does
- Grids from 6 x 6 to 12 x 12, counting the clue row and column
- Easy, medium and hard (easy and medium solve by logic alone; hard allows runs of 5 squares)
- Each puzzle checked by a solver to have one solution
- 1, 2 or 4 puzzles per page, Letter or A4, title and name line, answer key pages
- Solve on screen in the chat card with a Check button
- Seeded, so the same seed reprints the same puzzle

Limitations
- Grids are square from 6 x 6 to 12 x 12 (counting the clue row and column), with runs of 2 to 5 squares
- When a hard puzzle cannot be finished within the time limit, a medium puzzle is made for that seed and the reply says so
- Up to 12 puzzles per PDF
- It does not solve a puzzle from a photo or a newspaper
- Titles print in Latin, Greek and Cyrillic letters; Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew and emoji are left out of the PDF
